Hi, I've been playing and really enjoying this game but am a little confused on denizens casting spells in combat. Am I meant to determine their spirit scores beforehand and use the spell casting roll or do I use the damage roll (involving their CR) for spells as well?
I just finished reading the rules for the first time, and I'm excited to play, but I'm not sure how to actually play Fallow Ground as a solo rpg. Should I use a map generator?
I love the concept, and appreciate any guidance offered!
Unsurprisingly, this game is gorgeous. It also has a really cool theme and hexcrawl aspect - I love hexcrawl mechanics and I'm always excited to see them in a game. This is another home run from Shouting Crow.
